We were chosen for this particular project by Blanchard Wells, a large-scale construction company based in Southampton. When working for large scale operations the cheapest price isn’t always key but organisation, reputation and vetted manufacturing excellence is paramount. We were able to meet all the strict criteria in order to bid for the above project and needless to say, they were very impressed with not only the end result, but all the preparation along with the care and attention required to successfully manage a project as complex as this one.
A strict delivery date and erection schedule were adhered to despite a few set backs on site, G&M Steel Structures managed to pull the job forward to ensure our client could resume the time frame for completing the job with the customer.
All our steel work from steel frame buildings to fabricated steel beams for our customers are 3D modelled using the industry leading Tekla Structures. This allows us to check the structural engineers drawings against site dimensions checking for anomalies ensuring a perfect fit. 3D model’s and dimensioned drawings also aid the contractors on site and keep the client up to date with progress regardless of project size.
